Welcome to Silurian Bushcraft, we run courses from our venues in Herefordshire, The Brecon Beacons and The Gwent Forest.

Training in traditional craft skills is delivered by specialists in their respective fields. Our Bushcraft and Wilderness Living instructors are all experienced and passionate about interacting with nature in a symbiotic manner.

Rob Hudson

Rob attended The National School of Rural Crafts Herefordshire between 1998-2005. He is a qualified professional Blacksmith whose family have been smiths since at least the 1700s.

Brought up in the Brecon Beacons National Park, he has been passionate about and practiced Bushcraft since childhood. He has trained with a number of highly regarded Bushcraft providers, worked as an instructor for one of the UKs leading Bushcraft schools, and holds a Level 3 NCFE qualification in Ethnobotany.

Emma Wetherell

Emma has 8 years experience working with schools delivering outdoor education, she is a qualified Forest School Leader with a passion for botany and handmade crafts. Check out her Instagram feed to see her latest.
